There are actions you can take after a cancer diagnosis that may actually heal yourself from cancer.
A diagnosis of cancer strikes fear in most people. Rational thinking is put on hold and the fear of dying takes hold. But wait…There just may be something you can do to “save your life.”
If you have any unusual symptoms, make an appointment with your doctor. You cannot start the healing process if you don’t know what it is you need to heal from.
There are ways you can help yourself, either to prevent cancer or to defeat cancer and ways to help your body resist cancer cells.
You have heard this one before – exercise and diet. Exercise at least 30 minutes a day. The reason? To keep the adrenalin from taking over which causes feelings of anxiety and kicks in the “fight or flight” feelings. Also, cortisol makes a nice storage bed for abdominal fat. Cortisol is not our friend.
Anti-cancer meals consist of vegetables, fruit, legumes and fish. Meat should be eaten sparingly.
Head to the local health food store and purchase Tumeric. It works as a strong anti-cancer agent, much like chemotherapy. Tumeric is also a pain killer, likened to Ibuprofen.
Granted, the cause of cancer is unknown but if we can improve our lifestyle, than just maybe – cancer will not be a part of our diagnosis in the future.
